These terms apply to merchants who install Prod Veristar ("the app"), operated by Prod Veristar ("we"), on a Shopify store. By installing or using the app you agree to them. Shopify's own terms also apply.
The service
The app sends review request emails to your customers, collects and moderates reviews (including photos and video), shows reviews and star ratings in your theme, adds rich snippet data, and imports reviews from other sources. Features and limits depend on your plan.
Plans, trials and billing
- Free: $0, 100 review requests per month.
- Starter: $9.99/month, 500 review requests per month, AI review analysis and reply suggestions.
- Growth: $29/month, 5,000 review requests per month, all AI tools including product summaries.
- Pro: $59/month, 20,000 review requests per month, all AI tools.
Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. Charges are billed through Shopify in USD and follow Shopify's billing terms; you can change or cancel your plan at any time. When a monthly limit is reached, sending pauses until the next month or until you upgrade; your reviews and widgets stay live.
Your responsibilities
- Have a lawful basis (and consent where required) to email your customers for reviews.
- Do not create fake reviews, pay for positive reviews, or hide reviews in a misleading way.
- Only import reviews you have the right to use, and keep imported reviews labelled as imported.
- Comply with consumer protection, advertising and privacy laws that apply to your store.
Content
You and your reviewers keep ownership of review content. You grant us a licence to store, process and display it only to provide the app. We may remove content that is unlawful or abusive.
Data protection
For your customers' personal data you are the controller and we are your processor. We handle data as described in our privacy policy.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the app available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change features or these terms; material changes are announced in the app or by email.
Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending use
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. After uninstall, your store's data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.
